Okay people… it’s time to calm down. According to Nancy Pelosi (the expert on emotional outbursts) things are getting way out of hand. It’s alright to have freedom of speech… as long as it doesn’t get too out of hand.

It’s finally become clear to me. I can’t believe I didn’t see it before. The reason I disagree with the policies of President Obama is because I’m a racist! I have a need to see the President fail based on the color of his skin. It doesn’t have anything to do with the fact that I am pro-life and one of the first things President Obama did was strike down a rule that prohibits U.S. money from funding international family-planning clinics that promote abortion or provide counseling or referrals about abortion services. It can’t be that I believe government should have an important but limited role in our lives and President Obama’s policies have the government putting their fingers in every pie they can get their hands on. It can’t be that I am proud of what our country is and what it can become and the current administration can’t quit apologizing for who we are to foreign nations. It can’t be that I believe you can judge a person’s character in part by the people they choose to surround themselves with (ACORN, Jeremiah Wright, Van Jones, Bill Ayers). It can’t be that I disagree with the practice of pushing bills through that no one has bothered to read.

If I had just listened to people like former President Carter or Rep. Charles Rangel I would have realized much sooner that my disagreement with the current administration had nothing to do with the fact their policies continue to go against what I believe in and everything to do with the color of my skin.
